People with disability have the same rights (and responsibilities) as other citizens - the right to be treated with respect, dignity and value in relation to their physical, emotional, educational and social well-being.
Sometimes in order to realise their rights, people with disability need or want to undertake advocacy.
The term advocacy means – “giving aid to a cause” or “an expression of support for people who may not have a voice”.
